About Saint Peter’s University Hospital
Established in 1907, Saint Peter’s University Hospital, situated in New Brunswick, New Jersey, has been catering to the healthcare needs of central New Jersey for over a century. Over the years, it has evolved into a technologically advanced, 478-bed teaching hospital, offering a comprehensive range of services to the community it serves. As part of the Saint Peter’s Healthcare System and sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen, New Jersey, Saint Peter’s University Hospital operates as a non-profit acute care facility.
Being designated as a New Jersey state acute care children’s hospital, we provide specialized pediatric healthcare services, including a highly sophisticated maternity program, with an annual delivery count of up to 5,800 newborns. The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital boasts one of the largest and most advanced neonatal intensive care units in the nation, in line with the hospital’s state designation as a Regional Perinatal Center.
